We're a community of volunteers from all over Louisiana that share a mission - to show Christ's love and forgiveness to the incarcerated women at the Louisiana Correctional Institute for Women (LCIW).

What is Kairos?

Kairos is a Christian, volunteer, lay-led, ecumenical, international prison ministry that operates in 31 states and in 8 other countries.

Does Kairos make a Difference?

One LCIW inmate, who recently attended a Kairos retreat, said "I arrived at Kairos deeply hurting, truly broken...  Now I KNOW that God loves me. I found a love so profound here. I found release, support, forgiveness, and I know that I am not shut out of the kingdom!"   Kairos is life-changing - for those served inside prison walls and for those of us on the outside that serve.
